Dr. Wondwosen Yimer
Assistant Professor, Department of Data Science
"UMMC provides a wonderful platform to grow and develop professionally and personally. As a faculty member, the experiences I've gained along the way are highly valuable and irreplaceable."
Dr. Lais Young
Instructor, Department of Psychiatry
"Before I came to UMMC, I was told that, for some reason, everyone who came ended up staying. Having been here for almost three years now, I can see exactly why people stay. UMMC truly invests in the concept of "bench to bedside" and provides exceptional and innovative health care to the State of Mississippi while training the next generation of health care providers and supporting cutting-edge medical research."
Rinki Varindani Desai
Instructor, Department of Otolaryngology
"Working at UMMC has been a dream come true for me. It's an environment that supports growth, appreciates hard work, nurtures ideas, and my colleagues and leaders inspire me to provide the best patient care and to become the best clinician I can be. For all of this and more, I am truly grateful!"
